A series of ten weekly workshops have been organised with members of the Kingston East Neighbourhood Group, starting on the 26th of May. The workshops will form the basis for a public/street event planned for late-2014.
Skills: Bringing in, sharing, building and learning new skills.
Goals: Self Expression - Taking care of ourselves by expressing ourselves - Creating garments and jewellery that speak to us about our home.
Gains: Experience, empowerment, confidence - forming friendships and networks, getting to know new people or sharing new stories with the people you already know.
