Beth Jackson

Beth Jackson is a curator of contemporary art with over twenty years’ professional experience and over ten years with a specialist focus in art for the public realm. She has overseen the commissioning of permanent and temporary public artworks nationally for clients in both public and private sectors, including state and local government authorities and departments, private developers and commercial entities. She is the director of Artfully, an arts consultancy with a focus in art for the public realm.

Beth is also a critical writer on contemporary art who has published work in art journals and exhibition catalogues. In both her curatorial and critical writing work, she has a keen interest in interdisciplinary methods and in relational art practice, particularly when related to public outcomes and gallery/audience interactions.
