An aspect of our project is to teach our skills as artists. Nicola began by teaching a printmking, drawing activity which produced some amazing results with the more able. I did some simpler mono printing of homes and using recycled objects for printamking with others. Everyone was busy and engaged!

Nicola and I began our project at FIRST (Foundation for Independence Recreation and Social Training Inc) - a provider of disability support services.
We began by asking lots of questions of the young people, and collating anwers - this gave us a feel for our participants; where they're at and a possible direction for the content of the Cocoon Project. We thoroughly enjoyed our welcome and the enthusiasm of all at FIRST.
